A Reception Counter That Matches the Standard of Your Practice
Your patients are making a significant, personal decision. The environment they walk into either reinforces that trust -- or quietly erodes it before you've said a word.
Plastic and cosmetic surgery practices operate in a space where luxury and clinical credibility have to coexist. Patients arriving for a consultation have already done their research. They arrive with expectations shaped by your website, your reviews, and your reputation. The reception counter is the first physical reality that either confirms or contradicts what they came expecting to find.
Motivo Fixtures builds fully assembled reception counters with a commercial-grade high-pressure laminate surface built to hold its appearance through years of daily use. No custom millwork lead times. No contractor scheduling. Your counter arrives on a custom pallet, ready to place the moment it lands -- so your practice looks exactly the way it should from day one.

Arrives Ready for Business - Zero Assembly Required
At Motivo, we understand that your time is best spent with patients, not assembling furniture or waiting on a contractor.
-
Fully Built, Not "Flat-Packed": Every Motivo Plastic Surgery Reception Module is hand-built in the USA and ships fully assembled. We glue, screw, and finish every unit so it arrives as a solid, single piece of professional equipment.
-
No Specialized Labor Needed: Since the units are already finished, you don't need a specialized contractor for assembly. Once the unit is off the truck, it simply needs to be moved into your desired position.
-
Flexible Delivery Options: Our products ship via freight in secure, professional crating. If your practice does not have a loading dock or forklift, we can easily coordinate lift-gate delivery to get your counter safely to the ground.
Built for the Plastic Surgery Practice
The Consultation Starts Before You Walk In the Room
Plastic surgery patients arrive for their consultation having already decided they want to change something about themselves. What they haven't decided yet is whether they trust you to do it. That decision is made in the first 60 seconds -- before they sit down, before they meet the surgeon, before a single word is spoken about their goals. The reception counter is part of that first impression. In a cash-pay practice where procedures run well into the thousands, the environment has to match the investment the patient is about to make.
The Brand Presentation Failure
-
The Competitor's Failure: Most plastic surgery practices invest heavily in their brand -- a refined logo, a curated website, premium photography. Then a patient walks in and sees a reception counter that chips at the edge, shows surface wear, or simply looks like it was pulled from a general medical supply catalog. The brand promise made online doesn't match the physical reality of the space. That gap costs consultations.
-
The Motivo Standard: The high-pressure laminate surface on every Motivo counter is a commercial specification that holds its appearance through years of daily contact. It does not chip, peel, or dull the way residential or office-grade surfaces do. Your counter looks as polished on year five as it did on day one -- because the surface is engineered to last, not to be replaced.
-
360° Exterior Protection: While others use vulnerable melamine that scratches and peels, we apply high-pressure laminate to every vertical and horizontal exterior face. Every surface visible to your patients -- front, sides, top edge -- is built to the same commercial specification.
-
The Right Aesthetic, Ready to Place: Motivo counters are available in White, Black, and Gray -- clean, premium finishes that work with the elevated aesthetic of a plastic surgery practice without requiring custom color work. A counter that arrives looking sharp and stays that way is one less variable in the patient experience you're building.
-
Built for the Moment That Matters: The consultation conversion is the revenue engine of a plastic surgery practice. A worn, mismatched, or generic reception counter sends a signal before the consultation begins -- one you didn't intend to send. The Motivo counter holds the brand standard that gets patients from the waiting room to a signed treatment plan.
In a plastic surgery practice, first impressions are revenue. Patients decide whether to trust the practice -- and commit to a procedure -- based on what they see when they walk in. A reception counter that looks the part is not a luxury. It is a baseline requirement for a practice operating at a premium level.
"Old School" Reliability
-
Arrives Ready for Business: Unlike custom millwork that requires weeks of on-site fabrication and a contractor, our plastic surgery reception modules are hand-built in the USA and ship fully assembled. Your counter arrives ready to be positioned and put to work immediately.
-
Industrial-Strength Stability: We glue and screw every joint instead of using cam-locks that loosen over time. Because of their professional-grade weight and density, these units stay exactly where you place them without the need for floor anchors.
-
Surface That Holds Its Look: The high-pressure laminate on every Motivo counter resists the scratches, scuffs, and cleaning products that come with a busy practice front desk. It does not peel, chip, or absorb chemicals -- so the counter that arrives looking sharp keeps looking sharp.
-
Built to Last: Every cabinet includes non-marring nylon glides to protect your floors while ensuring a perfectly level workstation. Our products have been in active operation for decades -- making this the last counter your plastic surgery practice will ever need.

COMMON COMPETITOR FAILURE

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this counter hold up to the cleaning products we use in a medical environment?
Yes. Every Motivo module is surfaced with high-pressure laminate on all exterior faces. This is a commercial specification specifically engineered to resist disinfectants, surface wipes, and daily cleaning products. It will not scratch, peel, or absorb chemicals the way paper melamine surfaces do.
We want our reception area to reflect the premium level of our practice. Will this counter look the part?
That's exactly what Motivo is built for. The counter ships in White, Black, or Gray -- clean, elevated finishes that hold up in a premium aesthetic environment. Custom color is available for practices with specific brand requirements. Many practices pair the counter with dimensional wall letters behind the desk for a fully branded reception moment that signals quality from the moment a patient walks in.
What size is right for a plastic surgery practice?
The 48-inch Plastic Surgery Reception Module works well for a single check-in and consultation scheduling station -- ideal for boutique or single-surgeon practices. The 72-inch model accommodates two staff positions side by side, which suits practices with heavier consultation volume or a dedicated patient coordinator at the front desk. Both sizes ship fully assembled and are available in White, Black, and Gray.
Can we add our practice name and logo to the counter?
Yes. Custom branding and graphics are available as an add-on option. Call for a quote. Many plastic surgery practices pair the counter with dimensional wall letters behind the desk -- that combination creates the branded reception moment that sets the tone for a consultation. Your counter can be built to support that look.
How does shipping work?
Motivo counters ship via LTL freight, secured to a custom pallet. Freight is not included in the product price -- a freight quote is provided when you submit your request. Lift-gate delivery is available if your location does not have a loading dock. The counter arrives fully assembled and ready to place. No tools, no contractor, no assembly required.
What is the lead time from order to delivery?
Each counter is hand-built after your order is confirmed. Lead times vary based on current production schedule -- contact us for current availability. A 50% deposit is required to start production. The balance is due before shipment. We will keep you updated on production and shipping timing shortly after your order is placed.
